Terms & Conditions 

  1. GENERAL

When shopping with us online you accept our terms and conditions. When an order is placed on our website you enter into a contract of sale under UK Law. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders due to pricing errors or stock control issues.

The quality of our products and services are of utmost importance to us and you will receive the same level of customer service that you would experience in our stores. 

  1. LOCAL DELIVERY

When selecting free local delivery upon checkout, you are agreeing that you will be present to receive your order at the billing/delivery address supplied on the date you have selected, between 10am and 1:30pm. If you have agreed to pay via cash on delivery you must have the funds available on delivery. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the delivery can be successfully completed. 

  1. STORE COLLECTION

You may opt to collect your order from either our Whitburn or Cleadon stores. Your order will be ready to collect from the time stated in your confirmation email. Goods must be collected on the date you have requested unless other arrangements have been confirmed after the order has been placed. 

  1. UNFULFILLED ORDERS

Due to the seasonal nature of some of our produce, on occasion it may be possible that we are unable to fulfil some orders. In the unlikely event that this happens we will let you know within a few hours of placing your order. We will contact you to offer alternative produce or a full refund if monies has been paid. 

  1. ACCEPTABLE WEIGHT VARIATION

Because of the natural nature of the products we sell it can be expected that there will be some small variation in the weight of the products. It is impractical for us to request additional payments or refund small amounts but we will ensure that variations never exceed or are less that 10%. 

  1. GUARANTEE OF SATISFACTION

In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied with the quality of the produce you receive; you should contact us by phone or email within 24 hours of receipt of goods. Complaints will be dealt with on a personal level and we seek to have 100% customer satisfaction. Due the perishable nature of the goods we sell we can unfortunately not accept returns or claims for items ordered in error. 

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY

Under certain circumstances we may be able to cancel your order if it is over 48 hours prior to your agreed collection or delivery date. Due to the perishable nature of the goods we sell and the process involved in preparing fresh orders we regret to inform you that cancellations are not possible less than 48 hours before your agreed collection/delivery date. Please contact us if you have any further queries on this matter. 

  1. DATA PROTECTION

Any personal data we collect will only be used for the purpose it was originally gathered for and to help us improve the service we supply to you. We respect your privacy and will never share your details with any third parties.
